Lot Description
An Asprey silver plated travelling carriage lamp, having a hinged front panel lifting to reveal a cylindrical candle holder, missing glass, with pierced border to the lower section and a hinged double hook fitted to the lift up lid, impressed maker's mark and address to reverse, maximum height measures 6 inches (15.2 cm). Together with a travelling collapsible cup with personal engraving, also by Asprey. (2).

Condition Report
Both pieces display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Some very heavy tarnishing and both would benefit from a clean and polish. Also wear to the plating to certain areas. Some dints and bumps. Lid is fairly loose and doesn't stay properly closed, also likely repairs around the hinged double hook. It is likely that it would have had a glass panel in front of the candle holder but this is now missing and has been replaced by plastic. Collapsible cup appears in working order. Some distortion to maker's marks.
