A large continental fruit dish, the oval lobed body alternating in embossed fruiting and pierced panels and with central personal inscription, length measuring 17 1/2 inches (44 cm), weight 29 ozt (903 grams). Together with a modern silver cigarette box, hallmarked Birmingham 1976. (2).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette box has applied personal initials to the lid, one is missing. Also a panel to the inner lid with inscription.
