Lot Description

Two late Victorian small silver vases, the first of baluster form and embossed with leafy stemmed flowers, the second wrythen moulded with a flared and frill rim, both hallmarked London 1899, maker's marks for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co
(William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman), and Stokes & Ireland Ltd. Together with a later butter dish in the form of a scallop shell on three ball feet, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1919. Height of tallest vase measures 5 7/8 inches (15 cm), combined weight 6.3 ozt (196 grams). (3).

All three pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some dints and bumps, mainly visible to the floral embossed vase. Some slight rubbing but the hallmarks are all still clear and legible.
