A Victorian silver-gilt swing handle sugar basket, the oval body profusely chased with floral scrolls surrounding dual circular cartouche, one crested and within beaded borders. Hallmarked Holland, Son & Slater (John Aldwinckle & James Slater), London 1883. Maximum length measuring 5 inches (13 cm), weight 4.4 ozt (139 grams).
