Lot Description
An American sterling silver vase of tall tapering outline, scroll pierced sides below a band of engraved foliate motifs and moulded rim, and raised above a circular spreading foot with engraved monogram. Pictorial maker's mark to the underside, likely George A. Henckel & Co (New York, circa 1909-1940), also marked 'sterling' and number '115' (glass liner deficient). Height measures 16 3/4 inches (42.5 cm), weight 13.21 ozt (410.7 grams).

The vase displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some dents to the pierced sides, also possible small solder repairs. Some heavier scratches and marks. Missing glass liner.
