Lot Description
A continental caster, of bulbous form having fluted decoration quartered by acanthus leaf engravings, the pierced cover with bayonet fitting and the whole raised upon four shell moulded feet. Marked 800 beside further assay marks. Height measures 5 4/8 inches (14 cm), weight 4.47 ozt (139.0 grams).

Condition Report
Overall good to fair condition displaying light tarnishing and rubbing to the whole with slight loss of definition to decoration and heavy rubbing to finial. Slight distortion to feet and so does not sit flat. Bayonet fitting in good condition. Marks clear with light rubbing.
