Lot Description

A continental three piece tea service in Art Deco style, comprising teapot, twin-handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each of slightly curved rectangular form and raised on four corner bracket feet and having punched and stippled borders enclosing geometric patterns, each with hinged lid and stained wood finial and conforming wood handle to the teapot. Impressed 'silver' to corner bracket feet. Maximum length of teapot measures 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), gross weight 34.28 ozt (1066.2 grams).

All three pieces in the lot display some general wear including surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. General small dints and knocks to all three, also areas of heavier scuffs and marks. Slight loss of detail to some of the decoration. Hinged lids appear in working order. Finials on the teapot and cream jug are a little loose. All impressed 'silver' but no other marks are visible. Tests as 95 % silver.
