Lot Description

A set of three mid-twentieth century Polish cups or small beakers, each of tapering form and engraved with a crest, personal initials and date '19.8.40', struck with Polish Assay marks for .800 fineness and Assay city Warsaw, height of each measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm). Together with a mid-twentieth century Russian cup with floral engraving and a further similar example. Weight 6.47 ozt (201.3 grams). (5).

All five cups display some general wear including surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. All would benefit from a clean and polish. Some rim nicks and one of the Polish cups is a little out of shape. Also this cup with remnants of a sticker.
