A George III small silver teapot of plain oval form with straight sided spout and wood handle, the domed and hinged lid also with wood finial. Hallmarked Charles Chesterman II, London, likely 1809. Maximum length measures 11 inches (28 cm), weight 12.58 ozt (391.3 grams).

Condition Report
The teapot appears in fair overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor dints and bumps. Heavier tarnishing and staining to the interior. Impressions from the handle visible to the interior, especially at the base. Also possible small solder repairs including to an area of the base rim near to the handle. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
