A late Victorian silver sifter spoon, the fluted bowl having foliate pierced decoration, leading to the plain stem and pierced terminal, hallmarked James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, London 1893, length measures 5 4/8 inches (14 cm), and another example hallmarked Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1902, length 5 7/8 inches (15 cm). Together with a set of three commemorative silver spoons having crested terminals for George V above dates 1910-35, hallmarked Northern Goldsmiths, London 1934/5, length 4 2/8 inches (11 cm), plus another similar, The Usher Manufacturing Co., Birmingham 1935, length 4 2/8 inches (11 cm), a 1970's silver spoon having Scottish-style terminal, Cooper Brothers & Sons, Sheffield 1978, length 4 3/8 inches (11.25 cm), plus a cocktail fork having thistle terminal, and another spoon. Gross weight 3.68 ozt (114.63 grams). (7).
