A late Victorian silver hip flask, of rounded oblong form having engraved initials and hinged stopper. Hallmarked G & J W Hawksley, Sheffield 1897. Height measures 4 inches (10 cm), gross weight 2.22 ozt (69 grams).

Overall fair condition displaying few dents to shoulders and general light surface scratches to body commensurate with age and use. Hinge in working order but cork stopper is worn. Hallmarks with rubbing but mostly clear and legible.
