A late Victorian silver-gilt collapsible sandwich box, of rectangular form when assembled, having engraved initials to the hinged cover opening to reveal vacant interior and further folding hinges. Hallmarked Henry William Dee, London 1878. Length when assembled measures 5 2/8 inches (13.25 cm), weight 10.80 ozt (335.9 grams).

Overall in fair condition displaying heavy wear and scratches to exterior with rubbing and losses to gilding. Interior fairer with light marks and tarnishing. Hallmarks clear and legible and with part hallmarks to each component.
