An early twentieth century Chinese white metal apothecary or medicinal container, of oval outline, the sides with floral engraving and instructions for use, the detachable lid with raised and enamel scene depicting a Shi or 'Dog of Fo' mother and pup, representing nurturing. Chinese character marks to base. Height 5 cm, weight 91.1 grams.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. The lot displays general surface scratches, very slight small dents and marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The enamel has wear and slight losses.
