Lot Description
A mid-Victorian silver card case, engraved throughout with scrolling foliage surrounding a monogrammed oval panel to the front and a bouquet of flowers to the reverse. Hallmarked London 1855 with maker's mark 'TD'. In fitted case. Height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 1.66 ozt (51.6 grams).

Condition Report
The card case displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some dints and bumps and slight compression to the centre. Heavier wear around edges and corners and some heavier scratches and marks visible to centre panels. Hinged lid appears in good working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible, slight distortion to maker's mark.
