Lot Description

An Edwardian silver pebble snuff box, the hinged cover having engraved initials and opening to reveal vacant interior, hallmarked Charles Westwood & Sons, Birmingham 1904, length measures 3 4/8 inches (9 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver card case of convex rectangular form, hallmarked Birmingham 1908, probably Sydney & Co., length measures 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm). Gross weight 3.56 ozt (110.6 grams). (2).

Snuff box having few dents and bumps and with slight distortion to cover causing not to close tight, and the interior with signs of wear and use. Card case displaying general light surface marks and scratches commensurate with use, and hinge in good working order. Hallmarks to both items clear and legible and with part hallmarks to hinged covers.
