A 9ct gold and enamel standing vinaigrette, the purple guilloché  enamelled body of ovoid form with simple pierced grille mount to top, raised upon a screw detachable gold pedestal seal base. Height 5.25 cm.

Enamel with damage, chip and loss (approx. 0.8 cm size area). A non-enamel repair has been made to this area. Light surface marks and scratches to pedestal commensurate with age and use. Stamped 9ct to base edge. Base detaches with screw mechanism and reveals a hallow interior.
