Lot Description
A late Victorian silver vesta case of curved oblong form, having foliate scroll engraving throughout with central monogrammed cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1897, maker's mark partly obscured. Together with an early twentieth century vesta case, hallmarked Chester 1911, a monogrammed silver fob pendant, hallmarked Birmingham 1919, and three jewellery boxes, two for dress studs and one for a pair of cufflinks. Gross silver weight 55 grams. (6).

Condition Report
In mixed condition, all items in the lot displaying general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with their age and use. The Victorian vesta appears in fairly good overall condition. The later vesta is heavily tarnished and displays several dints and bumps. General wear to the boxes and the larger one has a very worn patch to the top.
