Lot 94

Lot Description

A small Victorian silver bowl with moulded girdle, lobed and fluted decoration to the lower body and coin inset to the base, hallmarked Charles Stuart Harris, London 1890, height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.3 grams). Together with two small Edwardian silver bowls, the first with shaped rim, twin handles and foliate scroll decoration, hallmarked Fenton Brothers Ltd., Sheffield 1906, the second with three scrolled supports and hallmarked Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1907. Combined weight 7.51 ozt (233.6 grams). (3).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

All three bowls display general wear including surface scratches, knocks, marks and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Heavier tarnishing visible and all three would benefit from a clean and polish. Some shallow dints and bumps. On the 1907 example there is some damage and a repair to the rim at the join of one of the handles. Some wear and rubbing but the hallmarks are all still legible.
