Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by James Rowe, London. Silver case, hallmarked London 1776. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with hour markers spelling out "Edward Arnold". 50mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial shows visible cracks, Dial also has noticeable marks which are partially prominent around the hour hand, these marks look to have occurred by the rust on the hour hand. Rest of the dial also shows marks.
<li>Hands show noticeable and significant rust. Both hands are broken.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Glass shows a noticeable flaw at ten o'clock.
<li>Inner case shows a significant past repair around the pendent. Inner case shows scratches, marks and dints. Inner case shows wear which has occurred by being inside the outer case. Outer case has marks, scratches, dints and visible tarnishing. Hinges have wear to the corners.
<li>Pendent shows marks and tarnishing. Bow is loose and the pin attaching the bow to the pendent appears to be a later replacement.<p>
