Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by Robert Derwood, London. Silver case, hallmarked London 1764. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock and square baluster pillars. White enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. 50mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial shows marks and some scratches.
<li>Hands have marks and tarnishing. Hands are of different colours indicating that one may be a later replacement.
<li>Glass shows marks.
<li>Inner case shows signs of a previous repair around the pendent. Inner case shows dents, marks, scratches as well as wear for when it has been inside the outer case. Outer case has dents, marks and scratches. Button and mechanism to open the outer case is broken and has become detached.
<li>Pendent and bow are loose. Pendent and bow show marks, tarnishing and scratches.<p>
