Lot Description
A half hunter pocket watch by J.W. Benson. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked London 1937. Number 625469. Signed fifteen jewel keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 46mm. 64gms.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Movement shows medium to heavy scratches.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There is a crack to the enamel running from the 1 o'clock to the 7 o'clock hour marker. The enamel has also chipped close to the 4 o'clock hour marker and been glued back in place. These are both visible to the naked eye.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand appears to be misaligned towards the outer tip.
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.<p>
