Lot Description

A ruby, diamond and cultured pearl three-row necklace. Comprising three rows of sixty-one, fifty-seven and fifty-four cultured pearls, measuring 6.5 to 6mms, to the circular-shape ruby and brilliant-cut diamond floral clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 45.5cms.

<li> Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. <p>

<li> Rubies well matched. <p>

<li> Rubies bright medium purplish-red, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. <p>

<li> Rubies in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. <p>

<li> Diamonds well matched. <p>

<li> Diamonds bright and lively. <p>

<li> Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification. <p>

<li> Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions. <p>

<li> Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. <p>

<li> Cultured pearls well matched. <p>

<li> Cultured pearls slightly creamy-white, showing pink and green overtones, with good lustre, and typical blemishes and blisters.. <p>

<li> Cultured pearls in good condition in good condition with some minor abrasion. <p>

<li> Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. <p>
