An early 20th century gold split pearl brooch. Of spiral design, the split pearl foliate detail, within a partially textured surround. Length 2.7cms. Weight 4.1gms.

<li> Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. <p>
<li> Base metal replacement pin, and hinge fitting, with soft solder repair.<p>
<li> Split pearls fairly well matched. <p>
<li> Split pearls white, showing pink overtones, with good to fair lustre, and typical surface blemishes. <p>
<li> Split pearls in good condition with minor abrasion. <p>
<li> Stamped 585. <p>
