Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the replacement 18ct gold band. Estimated dimensions of sapphire: 18.9 by 15.8, by 8.1mms. Estimated total diamond weight 3.50cts, I-J colour, SI clarity. Replacement band with hallmarks for London, 1916. Total weight 12.7gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band is a replacement, with partial scrolling shoulders remaining.
<li>Diamonds bright and fairly well matched with scattered, varied inclusions.<p>
<li>The sapphire is a medium deep blue hue, well saturated, with moderate colour zoning and reflective angular silk inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Ring size N.<p>
