A late 18th to early 19th century diamond and gem-set ring. The red gem cabochon and opal cabochon quatrefoil, atop a central disc, to the rose-cut diamond trifurcated sides and plain band. Weight 2.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of repair/ resize, slight discolouration to the back of the band.
<li>The central section is a probable replacement.
<li>Gem-set cluseter with significant wear to the mounts, possible replacement gems.
<li>The opals are fairly well matched with fair to good play of colour.
<li>One opal significantly cracked, general abrasion.
<li>Ring size N 1/2.
