An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst necklace. Comprising a graduated hexagonal-shape amethyst line, to the plated spring ring clasp. Length 40cms. Total weight 36gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Replacement clasp, base metal.
<li>Wear to the gilt finish.
<li>Amethyst are a fairly well matched medium slightly pinkish purple hue, with slight variations in tone and saturation. Good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Principal amethyst with nick to one corner.<p>
<li>Amethyst range from approximately 12.5 to 5.5mms in length.
