A late 19th century gold diamond, ruby and cultured pearl brooch. The oval-shape ruby and single-cut diamond crescent, with cultured pearl centre, to the knife-edge bar with circular-shape ruby and rose-cut diamond terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 4.5cms. Weight 6.3gms. With associated case.

<li>Overall condition good. Light surface scratches to bar in keeping with general wear.<p>
<li>Rubies medium pinkish-red hue, well saturated, with light surface scratches and abrasion.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment, some of the diamonds with surface nicks.<p>
<li> The cultured pearl light surface blemishes and nacre damage. It is off-round in shape. <p>
