National Art Competition, an electrotype bronzed repoussé medal by A Vechte, young bust of Victoria left on central medallion, Genius attended by Science, Truth, Justice and other allegorical figures around, named to Jane Francis 1857, Stage 13a, 145mm, together with original letter from South Kensington Science and Art Department dated April 1858, numbered 312, describing the medal. Good very fine, scarce.
