A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire horseshoe ring. The alternating old-cut diamond and cushion-shape sapphire line, with diamond point spacers, to the bifurcated shoulders and grooved band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Weight 3.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Possible conversion from another item, signs of repair to the mount.
<li>Some claws re-tipped.
<li>Many diamond points deficient.
<li>Band shows evidence of repair/resize.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Scattered, varying inclusions.<p>
<li>Sapphires a fairly well matched medium to deep medium blue hue, mostly well saturated with varying tone, good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Two sapphires with noticeable chips.<p>
<li>Ring size O 1/2. Length of ring head 1.6cms.<p>
