A mabe pearl and diamond brooch. The mabe pearl, measuring approximately 12 by 10mms, to the mabe pearl sides with old-cut diamond double accents. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 2.7cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Central mabe pearl untested for natural colour origin.
<li>The central mabe pearl nacre is heavily cracked. Three fracture lines are visible, durability impaired.
<li>The side mabe pearls are quite well matched. Blisters and blemishes to the surfaces. The nacre layers have worn away to surface. <li>Diamond fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>One circular-cut diamond replacement.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
