An early 20th century 18ct gold demantoid garnet and diamond dress ring. Of marquise-shape outline, the cushion and circular-shape demantoid garnet lines, interspaced by old-cut diamond lines, to the grooved shoulders and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct. Weight 4gms.

<li>The demantoid garnets are heavily abraded. The facet edges are significantly worn. The abrasion is obvious with the unaided eye. Diagnostic horsetail inclusions present.<li>
