An 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, within a single-cut diamond scalloped surround. Approximate opal dimensions: 16.6 by 11 by 4.1mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1978. Weight 6.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>The opal has a white body colour, with strong red, blue and green play-of-colour. Light surface scratches.
