Lot Description

A pair of jade, diamond and gem-set ear pendants. Each designed as a scrolling floral carved and pierced jadeite panel depicting crane and bat motifs, within a brilliant-cut diamond and triangular-shape ruby highlight surround, suspended from a similarly-set carved shi and ball jadeite surmount, with aquamarine and diamond face mask spacer. Estimated total diamond weight 2.10cts. Length 9.8cms. Weight 68.6gms. Jade untested.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Small dents to fittings on surmount.


<li>Diamonds well matched.



<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>

<li>Jadeite is a mottled deep medium through pale green hue. Some surface reaching fissures.

<li>Estimated dimensions of panels of one ear pendant; larger: 38 by 25, by 3.2mms. smaller: 22.5 by 16.5, by 4.7mms

<li>Rubies are a well matched deep medium very slightly purplish red hue, well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>

<li>Aquamarine a well matched light slightly greenish blue hue, some light, eye visible inclusions.

<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>


<li> With fixed posts for pierced ears.<p>
