Lot Description
A late Victorian 18ct gold opal and diamond three-stone ring. The graduated oval opal cabochons, with diamond point spacers, to the plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1872. Weight 4.2gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One opal is heavily damaged.
<li>Opals have a cream to slight grey appearance with a small amount of play-of-colour displaying green, red and some blue.
<li>Diamond fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Opals in good to poor condition with minor abrasions. One outer opal is cracked in two - durability impaired. The other outer opal has a small chip to the edge.<p>
