Lot Description
MOVADO - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case, import hallmarked Glasgow, possibly 1937. Signed manual wind movement. Black dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned burgundy leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 28mm.

<li>Manual wind movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement shows visible scratches, marks and tarnishing. Screw heads show signs of previous intervention.
<li>Dial shows marks and tarnishing when viewed under an eye glass.
<li>Hands have marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass shows marks and scratches. Glass is badly cracked on both sides.
<li>Case has visible tarnishing, marks and scratches.
<li>Right hand side of the case is knurled which appears to be from opening in the past.
<li>Crown shows noticeable wear to the plating and pitting.
<li>Case back has marks and light scratches.
<li>Strap has been modified to fit the fixed lugs. Strap and buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks.<p>
