Lot Description
ZENITH - a mid-size wrist watch retailed by Baker, Wigan. 18ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Birmingham 1937. Numbered 71488. Signed manual wind calibre 106. Champagne dial with baton hour markers, quarterly Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 27mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and noticeable tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial appears to show some pitting.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and small dints. Case back shows a shallow dent.
<li>Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has scratches and dinting. Crown has extensive wear to the gold platting.
<li>Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Underside of the case shows signs of modification where the strap has been made to fit the fixed bar between the lugs
<li>Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.<p>
<p>Lot to include a unrelated, non-branded box.<p>
