A large Blue John pedestal bowl
19th century
Old Tor Vein
The steep-sided hemispherical body with good bands of veining, raised on a triple-knopped broadening stem and stepped foot, 154mm rim diameter x 193mm high, 1,443gms.

Some rim losses and some rim repair. Old join below second knop of stem. Stem is of a differing character to bowl. Glue residue beneath foot where baize removed.
