Lot Description
Two mid Victorian gold gem-set rings. The first designed as a garnet and split-pearl cluster to the foliate shoulders and geometric engraved band, the second desinged as an oval garnet with seed pearl surround to the scrolling shoulders and stepped band. Hallmark for Birmingham, 1872. Ring sizes K and N. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
This lot is in fair condition, with light scratches and dents to the metal in keeping with age and wear. Both rings have received significant repairs. The first has had reinforcing panels added to the underside of its shoulders. The second has been similarly repaired, but the repair and solder used for it is visible to the front.
