Lot Description
A full hunter minute repeater pocket watch by Muirhead & Arthur. 18ct yellow gold case, hallmarked London 1911, personal engraving to the front. Signed keyless wind three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Numbered 3798. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 57mm. 158gms. <li>Movement is currently functioning. Minute repeater appears to currently function as expected.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There is some noticeable discolouration and light wear along the edge of the dial.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. The front cover is a later replacement.
<li>Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.<p>
