Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The cushion-shape sapphire, with old-cut diamond sides, to the tapered band. Accompanied by a verbal report from Gemmological Certification Services, stating the sapphire origin is Sri Lanka, with no heat treatment. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 2.1gms. With associated case.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of repair/ resize. The band has worn thin.
<li>Diamond fairly well matched. One diamond has a more yellow tint compared to the other.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright with chips and nibbles to the girdle edge.<p>
<li>Sapphire has a medium body colour, with fine needle line and silk inclusions throughout. There is a large noticeable fracture to the edge of the table face.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Ring size K.<p>
