An early 20th century gold amethyst fringe necklace. Designed as a series of seven graduated pear-shape amethyst collets, suspended from a graduated oval-shape amethyst necklace, to the partially concealed clasp. Length 40cms. Weight 19.9gms. With fitted case.

<li> Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. <p>
<li> Amethyst vary in shape size and colour well matched. <p>
<li> Amethyst patchy light to almost colourless purple, minimal to low saturation, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. <p>
<li> Some amethyst have patched of no colour with straight and angular zoning. <p>
<li> Amethyst in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. <p>
