A mid 19th century 18ct gold hardstone cameo brooch. Carved to depict Demeter, within a rope-twist, multi-layered surround. Length 4.5cms. Weight 20.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diameter 3.8cms.
<li>The hardstone is is good condition for age and wear. One crack from the stone edge towards the neck. Some scratches to the reverse.<p>
