Lot Description
BOUCHERON - a Belle Epoque lapis lazuli and silver gilt vase and cover. The baluster vase raised on a scrolling foliate and shell foot, with acanthus leaf bands and fronds supporting foliate garlands, to the shell motif rim and similarly-designed cover. Signed Boucheron, Paris. French assay marks. Height (including cover) 15.5cms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Restoration to the rim of the lid, with sections repaired, some slight in-fill to the underside.
<li>Noticeable wear to the gilt finish.
<li>Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin.
<li>Lapis lazuli is a mottled deep, through medium blue with veins of grey and whitish hues. Few, small pyrite flecks.<p>
<li>Stone in good condition with minor abrasions, nicks to the inside of the stopper along with restoration to the rim.<p>
