Lot Description
A late Victorian composite silver tea service comprising teapot, hot water pot, cream jug and twin handled sugar bowl each of part reeded form with square section handle. Hallmarked William Aitken, Chester 1894, and Florence Warden, Chester 1896/7. Height of hot water pot measures 9 4/8 inches (24 cm), gross weight 45.34 ozt (1,410 grams).

Condition Report
All items displaying signs of heavy tarnishing and wear. Hot water pot with distortion to foot and so stands at an angle, and applied wooden handle has splits, losses and is fairly loose. Cream jug and sugar bowl each with few small dints and bumps. Hallmarks to each with rubbing but still legible.
