Lot Description

An Edwardian silver dish of rounded rectangular form, decorated with diagonal and foliate pierced borders to a plain centre, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1904, length measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm). Together with a small footed dish having foliate scroll pierced decoration, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1913. Weight 15 ozt (466.8 grams). (2).

Both dishes displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some dints and bumps, mainly visible to the pierced  borders of the footed dish. There are also some breaks and losses to the pierced sections. The hallmarks are clear and legible, some slight rubbing to marks on the footed dish.
