Lot Description
A 1920's silver part tea service comprising teapot, hot water pot, twin-handled sugar basin and a cream jug, each of plain bulbous form with oblique gadrooning to rim and raised on four bun feet, stained wood handles and finials to the tea and hot water pots, hallmarked Williams Ltd., Birmingham 1922/23. Together with a large oval tray having a Chippendale style rim and twin handles, hallmarked James Deakin & Sons, Sheffield 1928. Maximum height of hot water pot measures 9 1/8 inches (23 cm), length of tray measures 24 inches (61 cm), gross weight 149.41 ozt (4647 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The tea set and tray all appear in good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Some minor dints. Heavier scratches visible to the centre of the tray. The hallmarks on the tea set appear very rubbed and worn in places. The hallmarks on the tray are clear and legible. No personal engravings, although the tray has a single initial to the centre.
