Lot Description
A 1930's silver salver of circular form with a Chippendale style rim, having engine-turned decoration enclosing a vacant circular panel to the centre, and the whole raised on four scrolled feet. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1936. Diameter measures 14 inches (35.5 cm), weight 36.18 ozt (1125.3 grams).

Condition Report
The salver appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few small gouges/nicks around the rim. Some heavier scratches and contact marks visible to some areas, especially some to the plain centre. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Also with impressed retailer's name.
