A large 1930's silver caster, octagonal sided to a footed base with reeded girdle detail, the removable lid pierced with stylised foliate motifs. Hallmarked Birmingham 1932 with maker's mark 'TS'. Maximum height including finial measures 7 7/8 inches (20 cm), weight 7.32 ozt (227.8 grams).

Condition Report
The caster appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor dints. Some possible solder repairs around the girdle and also the top of the lid. The lid appears to fit well and is struck with matching part hallmarks. The finial is slightly compressed. The hallmarks are clear and legible
