A Victorian silver inkwell, the cylindrical form with embossed girdle rising to the domed hinged cover opening to a clear glass liner and flanked by five pen recesses. Hallmarked Walter & John Barnard, London 1894. Height measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm), gross silver weight 3.6 ozt (113 grams).
