An early twentieth century Indian bowl, the circular form with panelled embossed and chased decoration, each panel with niche inset with  various animals and deities, the rim with personal inscription and the underside engraved with a depiction of a tree. Height measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 18.2 ozt (569 grams).
